Does it keep beverages cold?
Yes. The beverage tube is made out of high-density 3mm poly-carbonate
material that naturally insulates the beverage. Each tube comes with
a reusable Velcro ice sleeve that is stored in your freezer and
wraps around the lower part of the exterior of the tube. if
necessary. Each tube also has a plastic cap to keep the external
room temperature from affecting the beverage temperature. Tests have
shown that draft beer increases 2 degrees every 23 minutes without
the ice sleeve (beer tap temperature averaged 37 degrees from the
tap). Cold beer = happy drinkers!
How do the “balloons” stay cold?
The beer balloons are made of different material than the tubes. The
"balloons" have an internal container that you can store ice inside
to keep beverages cold.
What kind of beverages can be stored inside the tubes?
Anything liquid! There is no reason you cannot add ice cubes inside
the tube when you use it for pop, juice, or even mixed drinks.
Frozen drinks will work but they must be mixed very well. Your
imagination is the only limit.
Are they good for parties?
The beverage tube is great for social gatherings. You can use them for
meetings, social events, corporate outings, and even birthday
parties. Beverages stay colder and you do not have to refill them as
fast since they hold more than traditional pitchers.
What about Kids birthday parties?
Kids love using the tubes because they are fun, and most importantly
they are stable. The tube bases weigh from 5-11 pounds (depending on
the design) empty, so they are very stable and stay upright. Kids
love the fact they can serve themselves and parents love the fact
that they not only don't have to pour every drink, but also that the
kids don't risk spilling a pitcher.
What size are these products?
The 'Tubes" (base + tube) are approximately 3.5 feet tall in height.
The bases are approximately 12 inches x 12 inches so they do not
take up too much table space. The sports themed designs weigh
between 9-11 pounds total without beverage. The "balloons" stand
approximately 2 feet tall and weigh 3 pounds without beverage
inside.
How many fluid ounces do they hold?
The "tube" design is marked up to 100 ounces on the tube. If it was
filled to the limit you can get 115-120 ounces of beverage. The
"balloon" version holds over 100 ounces as well.
How do you clean them?
We have a 36-inch cleaning brush that can be purchased to make
cleaning the "tubes" very easy. The bases can be cleaned with a
clean washcloth and soap/water.
